At all of our stores we accept goods donations. By donating you save the environment and support local employment.

Donating

In our stores we accept small batches of clothing, but we would prefer that larger batches of clothing be taken directly to Nextiili, located in Lielahti.

We accept the following products only for a fee:

Products in unsellable condition

• broken, in poor condition

• dirty, moldy, musty

• incomplete or only partially usable (missing parts, missing remote control, etc.)

• product with animal hair on it

Products for which there is no demand

• cathode-ray tube televisions and monitors

• modems and other network devices, printers

• encyclopedia sets

• old-style skis and ski boots, old-fashioned exercise equipment

• certain furniture (Read more below under Furniture)

Products that pose a safety risk

• safety equipment: child safety seats, child safety gates, powder fire extinguishers, fall protection equipment, motorcycle helmets, etc.

• self-made and modified electrical appliances, building materials, kitchen fixtures, fixtures for wet spaces or self-painted cribs

• we also do not accept counterfeit products, paints, chemicals, medicines, pressurized containers, toxic substances, or flammable or explosive materials

Furniture

Because furniture takes up a lot of store space and processing unsellable furniture is a cost for us as well, we have to be fairly selective about which furniture we accept free of charge.

If you have a larger amount of goods, please contact us and order a free assessment visit, so we can agree on a possible price based on the overall quantity of goods.

On antique and vintage pieces, the patina of age may show within reason, but modern furniture must be intact and tidy.

Furniture we typically do not accept

For the following furniture we primarily offer our affordable waste station service:

traditional large bookshelves
old-fashioned chipboard furniture
office desks
old-fashioned TV stands
CD racks

Quality of goods

On the upholstery no stains, tears, heavy wear, scratching or gnawing marks, or hair

On the wooden parts no significant defects in the paint/lacquer surface

On the glass parts no cracks, chips or scratches

The springs or padding not flattened

No missing parts

What goods can I donate to you?

We accept intact, tidy and recyclable household and commercial goods.

We also accept small batches of clean, intact, usable textiles and clothing at the Nekala and Lielahti reuse centers.

Larger batches of usable, intact and tidy clothing can be donated directly to Nextiili in Lielahti, Sellukatu 21.

What we accept

How do I donate goods for reuse?

You can bring donations to our stores during their opening hours, or order a pickup service for larger items or batches of goods using the form or by phone at 045 882 4066.

Along with transport we also offer, when needed, an affordable waste station service for goods that are not suitable for the stores or for the association's reuse. This way the customer can, if they wish, easily get rid of the entire batch of goods at once.

Can you deliver my purchases to my home?

Yes. You can order affordable home delivery at the store checkout when making your purchase. The price depends on the distance.

Where can I take goods that are not suitable for reuse?

We offer a paid waste station service for goods that are not reusable or do not belong in the reuse center's range. You can also take goods not suitable for reuse, sorted, to local waste stations or waste points yourself.
